Pamela Anderson plastic surgery

Recently the showbiz star has performed as a spokesperson for breast implants industry, having advised FDA on silicone breast implants.

Silicone gel implants were banned in the US amid allegations that leaking silicone had caused a wide variety of health problems. In 1995, Dow Corning, the leading manufacturer of breast implants, declared bankruptcy because of the medical claims, however no connection between the medical problems and the implants was ever scientifically established. "We think the FDA should admit it had no basis for banning silicone implants," said Pamela Anderson.

More About Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is performed only under general anesthesia, although there are plastic surgeons who would offer local anesthesia with sedation. Be ready that after the surgery you'll be stiff and sore. Discomfort and pain, especially after submuscular implant placement will last for about a week, therefore it's necessary to stay in hopital for a night of two. After that you'll be wearing a suppot bra, elastic bandage for the first month following surgery. The result of breast augmentation will be visible immediately after surgery, although breast implants may temporary appear higher than expected, and it may take months for implants to settle to a final position.
