Folds on Janice Dickinson’s breasts

Let’s take a closer look at Janice Dickinson’s photos and discuss the disadvantages of saline breast implants. Or rather let’s focus on their advantages first. Saline implants are considered more natural that the silicone ones, because they are filled not with silicon gel but with sterilized water solution with a 0,9% sodium (salt) concentration. Since human body is ¾ salted water, they shouldn’t be that much of a shock to it.

However, biocompatiability is not the only issue here. For instance, when you rise your arms or bend down, treacherous folds appear on your breasts. Silicon filled implants don’t do that. Saline ones are basically bags filled with water. Try lifting a plastic bag full of water with two fingers – its walls will definitely fold. A saline implant in a woman’s breast will do the same.
